A message from the President
The Auburn Band Parents Association (ABPA) is a group of parents committed to enhancing the experience of all Auburn City Schools band students. Every parent with a child enrolled in an Auburn Band is automatically a member of the ABPA.
The Auburn Bands rely on the ABPA, comprised purely of volunteers, to take care of many functions that are necessary to make the band programs successful. We support all of the bands by volunteering at band events and making and/or acquiring donations for the ABPA. There are plenty of opportunities for you to help out:
The ABPA Concessions Stand at the AHS home games is THE fundraiser for the Auburn City Schools Bands. Parents pitch in during Marching Season to help with stocking and running the Concessions Stand.
Helping in the band stands at home games.
Chaperoning the Marching Band to away games.
Chaperoning Honor Band trips, after-school rehearsals and the annual band trip.
The more parents that help, the easier it is for everyone.
We encourage all parents to get involved and support their children. The students (and their Band Directors) are very dedicated and hard working. They deserve the support of all parents.
And students love to see the support that their own parents give.
