Auburn High School Percussion
About the Percussion
The Auburn High School band program provides numerous exciting opportunities for percussionists.
Aside from the concert groups and percussion ensembles, the AHS Marching band fields a full battery line and vibrant front ensemble, providing all of the percussive punch for our yearly competitive shows. These groups have been regular recipients of high caption honors in competition and are under the instruction of Mr. Shawn Geiger, Mr. Gregory Stringer (Auburn University), Mr. Corey Nduna (Auburn University), and Jordan Wallace (Auburn University at Montgomery).
In the Spring our percussionists have the option to compete as a part of the AHS Indoor Percussion Ensemble that competes in the GIPA (Georgia Indoor Percussion Association) and WGI (Winter Guard International) circuit throughout Alabama and Georgia.
