Mr. Gregory Stringer
Instructor, AHS
Mr. Gregory Stringer has been apart of the AHS band program since 2017. Graduating the program spring of 2020, he joined the band staff fall 2021. Since his joining he has worked closely with the Percussion Program, Marching Band, and Color Guard. He also teaches private percussion lessons to students.
Mr. Stringer is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition and Technology at Auburn University. Throughout his time at AU he has performed with multiple ensembles including the Auburn University Marching Band, Symphonic Winds, Percussion Ensemble, Orchestra, and AU Singers. He also served as the percussion section leader for the AU Drumline from 2022-2024.
In addition to his roles at AHS, he is an Composer/Arranger and Design Consultant for other marching programs across the country. In his free time he enjoys spending time with friends & family, spinning, and score music for animation & video games.
